At Club Boulevard Humanities Magnet School, we integrate authentic literature and the arts into North Carolina's Standard Course of Study for each grade level. Our resource teachers help us to realize our humanities theme by relating art, dance, music, physical education, Spanish, and technology lessons to topics in the regular classroom. The media center serves as an extension of the classroom for reading and research. In addition, we offer all students a changing set of electives, and our PTA sponsors a variety of after-school classes each fall and spring. Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year! Club Boulevard Humanities Magnet School is one of six magnet elementary schools in the Durham Public Schools system. The humanities are the foundation of our instruction, which extends into each classroom and also provides out-of-classroom enrichment opportunities for literature and the arts.
